Sports achievements obtained on or after 01 April 2011 shall only be considered for appointment.
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2014): Between 18 years and 25 years
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be considered for appointment on the basis of their performance in trials, and assessment of their sports achievements and general intelligence/ personality etc.
Candidates found fit after Trials will only be considered for next stage of recruitment process.
Final selection would depend on selected Sportspersons fulfilling the minimum medical norms for the post, for which he is being appointed.
The recruitment process will be finalized by the respective divisions / workshops / units.
Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere on South Central Railway.
Candidates belonging to SC / ST communities will be given free travelling authority in second class when called for trials / interview.
Examination Fee: Non-refundable Fee has to paid either in the form of Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad for the posts of Headquarters and Senior Divisional Finance Manager of respective divisions for the divisional posts..
Grade Pay and Associated Fees to be paid:
(a) For posts with Grade Pay Rs.2400 and Rs.2800: Rs.60
(b) For posts with Grade Pay Rs.1800, Rs.1900 and Rs.2000: Rs.40
SC / ST / female / Minority (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zorastrians [Parsis]) / and candidates belonging to Economically Backward Classes (family income less than Rs.50000 per annum) are exempted from payment of fees.
How to Apply: Eligible interested sports persons should send their applications, in the prescribed ,format along with copies of relevant enclosures to the concerned address mentioned below so as to reach their on or before the prescribed last date. Candidates can also drop the applications in the box kept in the concerned office premises on or before the prescribed last Date.
