Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS - NAAC Accredited "A" Grade) invites applications for following faculty positions in various department. Eligible candidates apply on or before 21st January 2014.

Qualification & Experience:

Professor -> Recognized Post graduate degree in the subject with four years teaching / research experience as Associate Professor / Reader in recognized Medical College. (OR) Recognised Post graduate degree in the concerned subject. Three years teaching / research experience as Asso. Professor / Reader in recognized  Medical College. Minimum of four research publications indexed in index Medicus / National Journals. Provided that these research publications are published / accepted for publication in the journals by the  National Associations / Societies of the respective specialties as the  First Author. Further provided thatthe requirement of 4 research publications for  promotion to the post of Professor should be taken on cumulative basis with minimum of  2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.

Associate Professor -> Recognized Post graduate degree in the subject with five years teaching / research experience as Lecturer / Assistant Professor in recognized Medical College. (OR) Recognized Post graduate degree in the concerned subject. Four years teaching experience as a Lecturer/Asst. Prof. in recognized Medical College. Minimum of two research publications indexed in index Medicus / National Journals. Provided that these research publications are published / accepted for publication in the journals by the National Associations / Societies of the respective specialties as the First Author. Further provided that the requirement of 2 research publications for promotion to the post of Associate Professor should be fulfilled with 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor.

Lecturer / Assistant Professor -> Recognized Post graduate degree in the concerned subject. Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Medical College as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor.

Tutor / Demonstrator -> M.B.B.S. or M.Sc  in particular subject  as specified by M.C.I.

Age Limit: 62 Years
