Upper Age Limit is relax-able by 3 years for Other Backward Class candidates and by 5 years for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.
Candidates will be called for the Interview after preliminary screening / short listing of their applications with reference to qualification, suitability, experience etc.
Appointment of Selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank and also to the service and conduct rules of the Bank.
Travel Allowance: Unemployed SC / ST / PWD candidates called for Interview will be paid second class to and fro Rail / Bus fare by the shortest route on production of evidence of travel -- Railway / Bus receipt / Ticket.
Probation: 2 years for candidates recruited in JMG Scale-I and for others 1 (one) years.
Service Bond: Selected candidates shall be required to execute a Service Bond to serve the Bank for a minimum period of 3 years from the date of joining failing which they shall have to pay an amount of Rs. One lakh to the Bank.
Application Fees: Non-Refundable application fees have to be deposited at any of the Branches of United Bank of India, through a Cash Deposit Challan available for download on the Bank’s websitewww.unitedbankofindia.com till 24 August 2013.
Amount of Application fees:
(a) For SC / ST / PWD candidates: Rs.100 (Towards postage only)
(b) For all others (including OBC& EXSM): Rs. 600
Candidates should take a Printout of the ‘Cash Deposit Challan’ from the Bank’s website, fill it, visit the nearest United Bank of India Branch and deposit the required fees in Cash in the CBS Account no.00980124261071.
After depositing the fees, candidates should obtain the Candidate’s Cash Receipt challan duly receipted by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & Branch SOL ID (b) Transaction ID and (c) Deposit Date mentioned on it and retain it for future use.

How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should apply on-line through Bank’s website www.unitedbankofindia.com till 13 September 2013.
After submitting the online application form, candidates should take a print out of system generated online application form and retain it for future references.
Candidates will be required to submit the copy of the print out of system generated online application form, Original counterfoil of the cash deposit Challan, all certificates (relevant) and Call Letter for Interview with photograph affixed at the time of Interview. Only certified true copies of certificates should be submitted by the candidate along with the application at the time of Interview. The same will be verified from the original
Candidates are advised to retain a copy of the application printout and of the cash deposit Challan for future reference.
Candidates should mention an active valid personal email ID in the online application as the Bank will send call letters for Interview and all other communications on this registered e-mail ID.
