Vacancy Details

Name of the Post: Chief Drill Instructor

Classification: General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial

Pay Scale: PB – III of Rs. 15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400

Method of Recruitment: by Deputation

Deputation Period: maximum 3 years

Eligibility

Age Limit: not exceeding 56 years

Qualification & Experience: Officers under the Central / State Governments including Central paramilitary forces:

i. holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre / department; OR

ii. with 5 year service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the PB – II of Rs. 9300 – 34800 + GP Rs. 4600 or equivalent in the parent cadre / department;

 iii. Possessing Degree or equivalent + 3 years experience as Drill Instructor including experience of planning, coordinating and conducting outdoor training activities.
